March is Women's History Month! The Mayor’s Office of Children and Family Success (MOCFS) is celebrating Women's History Month by bringing together powerful women to inspire attendees to dream big!“No matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid.” – Lupita Nyong’o A celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society! We want Baltimore City young women to join us for a day of entertainment and inspiration. You don't want to miss Mayor Brandon M. Scott's LeadHership Youth Summit! The goals of the summit are to:1)Bring community resources directly to young women in one place 2) Provide a positive and safe environment while students are out of school 3) Connect young women to local entrepreneurs that can provide their expertise across a wide range of topics 4) Provide information and tools needed for young women to begin and/or continue to realize their dreams and goals 5) Provide an opportunity for young women to ask questions and have access to vital information that is typically inaccessible to them 6) Encourage the business, non-profit and local community to engage with young women in Baltimore City in an intentional and ongoing way7) Encourage young women to register for YouthWorks who are not yet registered or sure they'd like to register.
