A fun and friendly event celebrating the start of spring and the power of sisterhood! This walk is the perfect opportunity to meet and make new friends with other Black women in Los Angeles while enjoying the beautiful scenery from Santa Monica to Venice. Whether you're a seasoned walker or just starting out, this event is suitable for all fitness levels. So grab your walking shoes and join us for a fun day of community, camaraderie, and celebration. The meetup spot is at Tongvga Park on Ocean Blvd in front of the sculptures and bridge. The walk to Venice and back is a little over an hour. This event is hosted by Brown Sugar Circle, a Los Angeles-based organization that promotes a supportive community for Black women.
