Show Me Strong Kids (SMSK) is a program of The University of Missouri School of Medicine in partnership with the Missouri Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Show Me Strong Kids invites all community members to come and learn more about kids’ health and well-being by talking with doctors and other professionals. This open session with Show Me Strong Kids is a great opportunity for parents, grandparents, caregivers, and other members of the community to meet with pediatricians and other child health professionals to learn more about child health. Local pediatrician Dr. Kristen Soehngen will be participating in the event. She provides care for newborns through adolescents at Arthur Center Community Health in Mexico, Missouri.
