Join us this Divine Mercy weekend for a day of powerful talks on God’s healing love!We all have wounds. We all experience the emotional suffering that arises when we're prevented from receiving or giving love as we were created to. As we orchestrate our lives to hide our wounds and avoid the discomfort of having them irritated, we end up creating anxiety, unhappiness, exhaustion, anger, and a sense of meaninglessness. The good news is that God wants to heal us! During several talks throughout the conference, Dr. Breuninger will examine the nature and cause of wounds and outline a six-step model for identifying and removing barriers to God's healing grace. About Our Speaker:Dr. Matthew Breuninger is an assistant professor of psychology at Franciscan University of Steubenville and a licensed clinical psychologist. His clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. He earned an MA in Theology from Ave Maria University and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Baylor University. He is a frequent guest on Matt Fradd’s Pints with Aquinas podcast (see one of his interviews here) and his first book Finding Freedom in Christ: Healing Life’s Hurts was released last October. Dr. Breuninger’s model for healing is drawn from his many years of professional experience as well as his own personal journey to freedom and healing in Christ. When not teaching, Dr. Breuninger can be found hiking with his family or fishing in the local lakes.
