Locally owned businesses play a significant role in building healthy communities and are among the best engines that cities and towns have for advancing economic opportunity. The City of Statesboro Business Commission seeks to understand how barriers such as public policy and concentrated market power may impede our local businesses' growth and development. The Commission will host a series of listening sessions for business owners to voice opportunities and challenges. These sessions will aid in formulating recommendations to the city council to strengthen efforts to foster a community where local businesses can thrive. The first listening session will be on March 27, 2023, at 6 p.m. Please register and submit your questions and or comments.
