Shane Hopkins, breakout sessions from other visiting presenters, and panel discussions with time for live Q&A from the audience. Get to know keynote speaker Shane Hopkins: "My passion is to see the prayer of Jesus answered from John 17:20-23, to see His church become one, so that the world will believe!" Shane Hopkins is from the southern Appalachian mountains of North Carolina, and grew up in a church that emphasized the Great Commission. He cut his outreach/missions ministry teeth in high school, serving as campus president of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), serving meals to migrant workers, and in Ukrainian orphanages and prisons. He attended Bible college in Oklahoma and spent his young adult years as a youth & missions pastor, taking teens on mission trips and working at Samaritan’s Purse in his hometown. His family moved to Fairbanks, Alaska, with YWAM in 2006, where he has served as a youth & missions pastor and a middle/high school teacher and coach. Since 2015 he has been lead pastor at The Lighthouse Church (formerly Door of Hope) and is very involved in multiple veins of ministry, besides having participated in missions work around the world, from Mexico to Azerbaijan, doing everything from street evangelism to drama ministry. Shane has been married to his wife Misti (who served as a missionary with the Uyghur people in Kazakhstan) for 22 years. They have one daughter, Grace, and one son, Andrew. Shane enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, coaching basketball, collecting sports cards & 1980’s action figures with his son, and planning the next mission trip.
