Make your own pop-up cards and more! In this workshop we'll demonstrate a number of basic paper pop-up mechanisms and show you how to combine them to build your own designs. You'll leave with a pile of samples of the mechanisms you learned, and plenty of ideas on how to make more! $5 suggested donation, Venmo available during event. Shelby Arnold (they/them) is a former full-time paper engineer. They designed pop-up books and cards in the studio of Robert Sabuda in New York City for many years until a spinal injury affected their ability to work. Needless to say, they know their stuff!
