It’s our Purple and Golden celebration! Fifty years ago the Lakewood High School Class of 1973 graduated and moved on to the next chapter in their lives. Your Reunion Committee invites everyone to come and revisit our school years and discover what everyone has been doing since then. There will be lots of stories to tell and to listen to and we can’t wait for it all! It wouldn’t be a celebration without some good food – there will be stations set up with all sorts of delicious selections, passed plates, a cash bar, and our traditional Ranger cake. You can look forward to a short welcome program, music of the 60s and 70s (David Conte has graciously agreed to lead us in a couple special songs), a raffle of items of local interest, and a great venue to meet up with your classmates. The fun runs from 7-11pm at CYC – The Cleveland Yachting Club – 200 Yacht Club Drive, Rocky River, Ohio, phone 440-333-1155. CYC is located 1/4 mile north of the intersection of Detroit and Wooster Roads. Follow Yacht Club Drive to the right and cross over the bridge to the guardhouse where you’ll enter the parking lot. We will also have valet parking available, ask at the gatehouse. Tickets can be purchased on this site for $60 plus Eventbrite fees or you can mail a check for $60 to LHS Class of 1973, c/o Cindy Millen, 224 E Center St, Berea, Ohio 44017. Cancellation refunds are available up to 30 days before the event. No-charge tickets are also available here for a 10 am tour of LHS on Saturday morning (Sep 30). Please order those if you plan to come to the tour so the high school can arrange enough tour guides. If you are attending the tour, please meet at 9:45am at the easternmost Franklin Blvd entrance by the Ranger Shop and cafeteria (where the L-Room used to be).
