Join us for a friendly food-eating competition on Thursday, March 23 at 6 PM at The Friendly Fermenter for Taste of Downtown Restaurant Month! THE CHALLENGE: Eat one soft giant pretzel from The Friendly Fermenter as quickly as you can. THE PRIZE: Fastest contestant will win a prize pack including The Friendly Fermenter and Downtown Harrisonburg swag, The Friendly Fermenter gift certificate, Downtown Dollars, and bragging rights! Prizes for second and third place too! THE CAUSE: Proceeds from entry fees will benefit Harrisonburg Downtown Renassiance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building downtown Harrisonburg as a destination where businesses thrive and people enjoy memorable experiences Each $20 donation (plus processing fee) will get you entry into the competiton as well as a voucher for a free wristband for the Sip & Stroll on March 31 from 4 - 8 PM.
