Founders Day History Walk - Train Station East

As part of Newark History Museum's Founders Day event on April 2, 2023, you can choose from two different history walks, both starting at the museum. This walk covers the area east of South College Avenue, and south of East Park Place. Learn about the buildings, businesses, city services, and people that made this area unique. The 2:00 pm tour will be led by Board of Directors member Will Webber, and the 3:30 pm tour will be led by Save Old Newark Coalition Founder Alex Toth. Tours cover approx. .5 miles and are ADA accessible. Tours will still be held if there is light rain, but will be cancelled due to heavy rain, high wind, or lightning.
