Description

As Lower Shore Re-entry Navigator for The Maryland Department of Labor, I’m very passionate about reducing recidivism and helping this clientele overcome barriers. This event is aimed to bring awareness to the importance of helping individuals returning from incarceration and those with a criminal background. We can help build meaningful second chances in our communities by gathering local community resources in one space. This Resource Fair will have providers available to talk to attendees about résumé assistance, federal bonding, vocational programs, employment opportunities, housing, health care, mental health services, substance abuse programs, and other local resources. PARKINGDowntown Salisbury Parking Garage- Parking tickets can be stamped by library staff to receive 3 hours of free parking. Each additional hour will be $1.00. Parking Lot- Across from the Library offers the first 2 hours free and $1.00 for each additional hour. FOOD IS NOT PERMITTED AT THIS VENUE.
