Join us for the fourth dining event in the Silverton Tour de Forks series! Launched this year, Silverton Tour de Forks is a unique community dining event that supports local nonprofits and allows you to travel the globe without leaving the comforts of our tiny little hamlet. Travel with us through food as we explore international cuisines. . . the March 21st event is celebrating India with an Indian festival!For our fourth event, we invite you to enter the hash house with us as we dine and dance with a delicious Indian five-course meal and good 'ol classic Indian music.OUR MENU:Apertif : Jaljeera MojitoTangy spice, lime and rum cocktail with a tamarind twist Start the night out with a litte mojitoWe will be spinning classic Indian music in the indian palaceDoor prizes!Come early and indulge in your personal bottle of wine or creative cocktail from the cash bar Second Course- Appetizer Handmade Palak Paneer with lentil flat bread and SamosaPalak Paneer is a popular Indian vegetarian dish with indian cheese in a smooth, creamy and delicious spinach gravy. Served with handmade lentil flat bread.Samosa is a potato and pea stuffed deep fried appetizer that you dip in mint chutney.Main Course : Chalo khana khate hai ("let's eat")Tikka Masala- yum!We're making aromatic jasmine rice with a scrumptious slow cooked chicken chunky sauce. Served with mango tomato chutney and yogurt raita! Vegetarian option of a chunky tofu sauce.Fourth Course- DessertRasmalaia handmade sweet cheesey and juicy dessert served with a cream sauce and topped with a touch of pistachios, almonds and saffron. Fifth Course- DigestifHomemade Masala Chai A Black tea simmered with fragrant spices and whole milk. Enjoy it with a splash of Tuaca or non- alcoholic. Doors and bar will open at 7pm. Dinner will be plated and served at roughly 7:30pm. Let's see your Bollywood dance moves!Dress code: dress festive in the spirit of India! Encouraged but not required. MUSIC! DANCING! GAMES!
