This event is hosted by the Chicago BIPOC Birders group. Black, Indigenous, and People of Color at any level of experience are welcome to our bird walk. We will also be meeting with the Washington Park Steward to learn more and contribute with a garbage clean-up. Group binoculars and trash grabbers will be available. We'll be able to meet at the field house parking lot. Getting there: the CTA 55 bus runs north to south on king drive and stops near the field house and the CTA 3 bus runs east to west and stops near the field house parking lot; the Garfield green line station is a block from the field house. If you would like to carpool or need assistance with transit find us on slack at chicagobipocbirders.glitch.me. Lunch will be included. We will order a variety of options from Cafe 53rd.
