Grades: 9th - 12th Name of Event: Purdue University Nuclear ReactorDescription: This is a tour or Purdue' nuclear reactor on Purdue's main West Lafayette campus. PUR -1 is Indiana's first and only nuclear reactor. We will learn about the exciting new controls and instrumentation of PUR-1. There is the Northwestern parking garage across the street, but families would need to purchase a daily permit through Purdue's parking portal (link can be provided) for $5.
