Description

Grades: 6th - 8thName of Event: Candles Holocaust MuseumDescription: Candles is Indiana's ONLY Holocaust Museum. CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center is a “memorial” to Eva Kor’s twin sister, Miriam Mozes, and to all of the 6 million murdered Jews of the Holocaust. The museum tour will consist of two parts: Dimensions in Testimony: an interactive hologram experience featuring our founder, Eva Kor (11 other survivors experiences are also available in DIT) and Choices: the main exhibit with visuals and artifacts. Both experiences will be provided to us as a guided group tour. Because of the historically sensitive nature of the museum's content on the Holocaust and survivors, Candles asks that no one under the age of 6 attend, and highly encourages the tour as most appropriate for middle school or ages 12 and up. Candles also requires all caretakers to read the attached Group Visit Candles Museum Guidelines and Information before attending a tour to better inform groups of the experience.
