Join us for the Orinda Theatre's monthly comedy show with Kabir “ Kabeezy “ Singh ( AGT) featuring the best of the bay! Kabir “Kabeezy“ Singh is fresh off his standing ovation and four “yeses” on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” in June of 2021 and then advanced past the thurd Round to the Semi Finals on AGT Which will air Sept 7th but , Kabir he has been a touring headliner for almost a decade now. Kabir has been featured on “Amazon Prime“, “The Family Guy“, “Laughs on Fox”, and Gabriel Iglesias’ “Stand Up Revolution” on Comedy Central. His Dry Bar Comedy special, “Stay Single“, has been one of the best reviewed specials on their YouTube channel. He was the winner of the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, Big Sky Comedy Festival, and a finalist in the nationwide NBC “Stand Up for Diversity“ showcase. Kabir has also headlined a night at every major Comedy Club in California and has headlined comedy clubs all of The U.S, U.K, and Canada. It's safe to say Kabir is not an act to miss and according to many members of the Industry will be a household name in due time. This month's HEADLINER Paco Romane Charming, sturdy, and aggressively good-natured, Paco Romane is an anxious comedian, actor, writer, and podcaster from San Francisco. He has appeared on Comedy Central, NBC, Drunk History, HBO, Nickelodeon, NPR, and Funny or Die. Known as a versatile mash-up of everything comedic, Romane is a natural entertainer ready to riff on bad breakups or his everyman physique and weave hilarious hard-to-believe true stories about his movie-like life with fast and furious crowd work. The San Francisco Chronicle called his comedy “smart, silly, fast, and funny.” Digital Journal remarked, “to call Paco an original is no exaggeration” additionally, NPR added that he is at the “top of the comedy scene and keeps audiences riveted and coming back,” and The Onion’s AV Club called him “hilarious.” His work has led to many diverse gigs like working with hip-hop legend E-40 as Casey Kasem, shooting a commercial with (NBA Champion) Klay Thompson, being thrown out a window by Mr. T (not in the same ad), and appearing in numerous national commercials and films. As a voice-over artist, he was the voice of Pandora Radio and Roku and has recorded voices for Pixar movies, commercials, and video games. Spinning Platters called him “one of the greatest Bay Area comedians,” and he was twice voted The Bay Area’s Best Comedian. He has performed numerously in SF Sketchfest and Outside Lands and with comedy legends like Robin Williams, Norm MacDonald, Ali Wong, Dana Gould, and many more. In 2015, Paco started Sup Doc, a recap documentary podcast with guests from the worlds of tv, film, music, and more. You can catch Paco performing in clubs and comedy festivals around the nation. With TWO Features from NEW YORK David Roth is Brooklyn-based author, advertising creative director, and stand-up comedian. His book "LOL 101: A kid's guide to writing jokes," published by Chronicle Books, is coming out Spring 2023. He recently wrote and produced a music video that won top honors at The Independent Shorts Awards, the Houston Comedy Film Festival, and the Art Spirit Film Awards. In his ad career, David has written two Super Bowl commercials and collaborated with the likes of Jim Gaffigan, Bob Odenkirk, Larry Charles, and JB Smoove. Eliot Thompson is an up and coming comic born and raised in NYC. In 2021 he won the New York Comedy Club stand-up competition, and in 2022 he was chosen as a New York Comedy Festival ‘comic to watch.’
