Introduction: Community Information Exchange is a way of connecting and sharing important information about those seeking and receiving services and streamline referrals and feedback loops. This conversation will help the state understand if a statewide CIE could help you and your organization. Goal: Planning/engaging with stakeholders to establish a localized CIE Advise the state on the development of CIE strategy Determine the state’s capability of having a statewide CIE by looking at what CIE platforms already exist within Michigan’s public and private health care systems. Record what is currently working with the organization’s system (i.e. universal referral system, 211, etc.) Examine how organizations would interface with a CIE system to address their needs and manage their data needs Gather feedback to identify the impacts, priorities, and risks of implementing a statewide CIE strategy. This feedback will inform the strategic options for implementing a statewide CIE strategy.
