Crowned Pearls of Wellington, Inc. presents “Night Lights & Crowned Pearls” The Crowned Pearls of Wellington, Inc. (CPW), a 501(c)(3) non-profit community organization located in Wellington, Florida, is the philanthropic arm of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Alpha Alpha Upsilon Omega Chapter. We have supported many volunteer initiatives such as food drives, hurricane relief efforts, school supply drives, and toy drives in Palm Beach County. In addition, we provide scholarships to deserving students and bring awareness to the importance of women's health and wellness through workshops. We conduct financial planning and asset accumulation seminars and collaborate on community events introducing the Arts to participants who may not otherwise be exposed. We are now embarking on a new initiative that helps to address children with food insecurities by providing backpacks filled with nutritional food items for the weekend. We continue to donate significant volunteer time to tutoring and mentoring local minority students through the Students Working to Achieve Greatness Program (SWAG). As a non-profit, we seek sponsorship for an upcoming event to help defray administrative and operational costs that fund vital programs for the communities we serve. "Night Lights & Crowned Pearls" will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, as part of the world-famous Wellington International Equestrian Center's “Saturday Night Lights”. CPW’s fundraising event will be held in the Wellington Club on the grounds of the Wellington International Equestrian Center. Doors open at 6:00 pm; complimentary Beer & Wine Happy Hour 6:30-7:30; buffet dinner & credit card bar from 7:30 pm-9:30 pm; Gallery Night Club with D.J. from 9:30 pm-midnight. Complimentary valet parking included. Your charitable giving through this fundraising event will allow us to support the continuation of vital programs and fund new initiatives that positively impact the lives of minority children in our communities. This charitable event is truly a one-of-a-kind opportunity to support our initiatives and experience a Grand Prix equestrian event featuring food, fun, live music, and the highest level of competitive show jumping.
