This month the LoPresti Art Gallery will feature the work of local artist Danielle Deptula. Danielle Pokrandt is a Visual Fine Artist from West Hartford, Connecticut. Earning her Associates in Visual Fine Art from Manchester Community College in 2012 she has also studied at the Hartford Art School, Central Connecticut State University, Vero Beach Art Club, and the University of Central Florida where she currently is finishing her Bachelors in Fine Arts Degree specializing in Painting. Influenced by traditional tattoo culture, street art, and religious art, Danielle combines an array of influences and embeds it deeply in her symbolic works. She loves combining realism with abstract atmospheres and contrasting techniques of high craftsmanship with the raw qualities of a medium. She seeks for her imagery to create narratives, arising contemplation and personal reflection in the viewer.
