After thousands of years, we have lifted ourselves into an amazing modern world, and we have brought these art forms along with us, continually creating objects of use and incredible beauty. Lifted, the art show, brings these two original art forms together, each elevating the other in a truly collaborative experience. Celeste Seitz’s work brings bold lines, energetic curves, and meditative circles communicate meaning to viewers without the burden of words. Seitz' work can be described as 'maximized minimalism. Her practice includes Abstract Calligraphy, Ensō, and One-Stroke art in the Sumi-e Style. Kat Warwick’s work brings glorious curves contrasted with sharp edges. Kat work often expresses a story and sometimes presents a question to be pondered and discussed. Kat's work is designed to bring joy and lift us all into a greater future. Stylizations of the human and the animal kingdoms are displayed alongside purely abstract shapes, each with their own unique story for you to discover.
