We left microbes, soil amendments that we added in March and Mother Nature to do their thing through the month of April. Now it’s one of the most exciting days of the growing season - Planting Day! Join us as we direct sow seeds and transplant baby seedlings to the Georgetown East Elementary Garden. Schools enBloom! is a program for the community to co-create school food gardens. These living “garden classrooms” solve real-world, farm-to-market challenges using STE(A)M, alternative wellness, and public health approaches. Bring gloves and garden tools if you have them or borrow ours. This activity is open to all ages and abilities.
