Description

How are people in New Orleans accessing mental health care? Lede New Orleans' Community Reporting Fellows explored the question last fall, learning about mental health care access, and interviewing community members and experts about the state of mental health support in our city. Their stories include interviews with therapists and local healers, student athletes coping with the pressure of college-level athletics, and the owner of New Orleans' first sober wellness lounge. Join us for opening night of "Get Ya Mind Right," an interactive storytelling exhibit showcasing the Community Reporting Fellows' original work. Come meet the fellows, interact with their work, enjoy food and drinks, and engage in conversation about what a mentally well New Orleans looks like. The exhibit will be open to the public at Axiom Art Gallery through Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
