The Leading Ladies of The Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce they are hosting a female leadership symposium in Statesville, ROAR. On Friday, March 31st at the Statesville Country Club, the day-long event features dynamic female leaders that will encourage women to Resound, Outshine, Actualize, and Revolutionize their lives. “We are pleased to be able to bring this female leadership conference to Statesville,” said Dana White, ROAR Chairperson and Leading Ladies committee member. “It’s been a goal of ours for a few years now and we are finally in a place to bring this kind of supportive and empowering program to the women in our region.” The symposium, sponsored by Leading Ladies of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, focuses on empowering women in business and other entities through team building exercises and networking, and features four dynamic women speakers, each with her own take on what the empowerment of women means in today's world. The keynote speaker, to be announced later this week, is southern humorist, Jane Jenkins Herlong, will have attendees laughing, crying and feeling ready to take on whatever comes their way.
