Join us for sunshine and stories! We’ll meet outside the visitor center/conservatory where all the wooden tables and chairs are by the water ball fountain. If you are inside the conservatory (the big plant room), you'll see this area through the glass doors. For reading time everyone can stay at the tables or scatter to their favorite garden spot. The visitor center closes at 4:30pm but the garden is open until 7pm. See you there! Weather Backup: If there is inclement weather, we will move indoors to Southern Brewing, 231 Collins Industrial Boulevard, Athens, GA 30601. 2 p.m. Arrive and say hi. Feel free to come earlier to hang out or to scout out a great reading spot around the garden. 2:30 p.m. Quiet reading hour 3:30 p.m. Keep reading, call it a day, or catch up on the patio. What to bring: a towel, blanket, or tailgate chair if you want to sit on the grass to read. Drinks or snacks. And a book! RSVPs will help us estimate attendance and plan accordingly.
