✿ About UwU & Friends ✿ UwU & Friends is a multidisciplinary event series showcasing underground dance music created by, and for, Portland’s Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and Trans/Gender-nonconforming community. Through collaboration, music, site-specific video projection, and installation art, we showcase established and emerging DJs and artists to explore a new type of party—a queer utopia. With the dance floor as the center, we aim to rejuvenate our community by creating safe, healing spaces featuring art, music, and dance. ✿ Info ✿ 21+. Free with RSVP. Saturday, March 18th. 2pm-11pm. They’re a regular fixture at the city’s best parties, and a familiar voice on Twitter, uplifting the “loose international queer and QTPOC techno underground that puts love for music first”.
