Meet Instructor Courtney!Courtney is a dedicated yoga teacher and student. She has two 200 hour yoga trainings under her belt specializing in Hatha yoga. By the end of April 2023 she will be certified in her third 200 hour yoga training focusing on the powerful practice of It’s Yoga/Rocket method.
She first began her yoga journey in 2013 practicing the It’s Yoga, Rocket method which is based on the ancient practice of ashtanga yoga.
Courtney is also hair stylist and salon owner, and values the importance of staying centered through the physical practice and breath work yoga offers, to make her day to day more enjoyable. In her classes, you can expect to learn about how to properly breathe by coordinating the breath to the postures, making a mind body connection. In addition, you will learn some powerful postures along with modifications for every pose. Making the practice accessible to all levels.
When Courtney isn't working or teaching yoga, she loves to travel, snowboard, camp, be in nature, attend music festivals, and spend time with friends and her 2 cats at home.
Attend one of her classes and you may attempt to do things you’ve never done, enjoy a relaxing savasana at the end and leave feeling empowered!
