Free Caregiver Resource Session and Youth Playgroup Learn about Special Education with an Advocate and Attorney from Albeit Weiker, LLP. The playgroup will be held in the same building as the resource session. Please contact [email protected] if you are interested in registering for the playgroup. Dinner will be served. Mark Weiker and Danielle Randolph from the law firm of Albeit Weiker, LLP offer this fun and interactive workshop covering the basics of special education, including the various acronyms used in special education. We will explain the initial evaluation process and move through qualifying for special education and identifying components of the Individualized Education Plan (“IEP”). The goal is to help parents become familiar with special education and the components and purpose of the IEP. The workshop is interactive, but time will also be reserved for questions at the end.
