Join us for a fun day of volunteering to celebrate Earth Month! Veasey Memorial Park is hosting an event to promote rewilding efforts by educating and inspiring the public to plant more native species and learn about pollinators through hands-on experience. The event will also feature an art activity and provide volunteers with native gardening starter kits and information on No Mow May. Meeting Point: We will meet in Veasey's large parking lot. Please remember to: Wear Sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots with good traction.Long pants and long-sleeved shirts to protect your skin from scratches and insect bites.Layers of clothing appropriate for the weather conditions.A hat or cap to protect your head and face from the sun.Bring A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.Sunscreen and bug spraySnacks if you're a snack-y personA positive attitudeIf you registered for the event and have to cancel, please get in touch with [email protected] We look forward to seeing you there!
