In collaboration with the National Cherry Blossom Festival, and in partnership with LYFT, The NoMa BID will host a day filled with kite flying and kite making, local DJs, face-painting and food trucks for all to enjoy! Chalk Riot will be creating a unique blossom-themed chalk mural , and Neighbors DC will be back this year, curating a pop-up market, comprised of local artisans. Stay tuned for more announcements and included activations. We can't wait to celebrate spring in NoMa with you! ___________________________________________________ Important Notes Limited on-site kites will be available for public use , but please feel free to bring your own!Safety and community are top priorities; please be considerate while flying your kite and watch out for your fellow neighbors!We encourage anyone feeling ill to stay home and rest-- Let's continue to keep each other safe!In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for Sunday, 4/2/2022.
