This event is intended to increase awareness in the graduate student community to ongoing gender equity issues throughout academia, industry, and government, as well as to connect graduate students with faculty and admin that have worked on these issues. This event will be split into two parts: a panel and dinner. Panel Discussion Panel will occur from 5:00 until 6:30 (location TBA) and will have a focus on answering questions from the audience. The panel members are: Provost Cynthia Barnhart (Moderator) - CEEChancellor Melissa Nobles - Political ScienceProf. Lorna Gibson - DMSEProf. Sangheeta Bhatia - HST/EECSProf. Gigliola Staffilani - MathProf. JoAnne Yates - Sloan Dinner Dinner will follow immediately upon conclusion of the panel discussion and will take place in the Colbert Room of the Warehouse (NW30). Dinner is intended to facilitate ongoing conversation between panelists, other invited guests, and the graduate student community.
