Description
Come join us for a spirit filled day focusing on our Mother Mary and Jesus in the Eucharist! Grab a friend or family member and spend a peaceful, spiritual day with us. We'll have 5 speakers to enjoy, a few vendors for a little shopping, and will end the day with Mass in the Cathedral. Registration is $25 each, or 2 for $40, and will include continental breakfast and lunch.Our awesome speakers..........Fr. Lihn Nguyen - Born and raised in the suburbs of Fort Worth, Fr Nguyen is no stranger to living his faith. He encountered Christ at a young age through the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement. Fr Nguyen entered the seminary in 2012 at St Joseph Seminary College in Covington, Louisiana, and was ordained a priest in 2021. He currently serves at St Elizabeth Ann Seton in Keller, TX, and is Chaplain to the University of North Texas Health Science Catholic Students. Dcn Federico Medina - Born in New Jersey and raised in Puerto Rico, and after a 22-year military career in the USAF, my wife and I settled in San Angelo, Texas. I was ordained on June 5, 2010, for the Diocese of San Angelo, Texas, where I currently serve as Director of the Office of Diaconal Ministry. Fr. Ryan Rojo - Fr. Ryan Rojo currently serves as the Vocation Director/Director of Seminarians for the Diocese of San Angelo in Texas. Ordained in 2015, Fr. Rojo received a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the Liturgical Institute at the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois. He serves on both local and national liturgical committees, and was recently invited to serve as a Eucharistic Preacher for the USCCB’s National Eucharistic Revival. Fr. Rojo enjoys reading, writing, acoustic guitar, and the Harry Potter Fandom. Amy Perez - Child of God, wife, mother, Franciscan University of Steubenville graduate, retreat director, spiritual mentor, catechist, and friend. Sarah Fellona - Prior to coming into the Catholic church, Sarah taught English in Kenya, & practiced corporate law. After joining the Catholic church and marrying her husband Mike in 2002, she has obtained her Masters in Theology, diploma in Spiritual Theology, and certified as a Spiritual Director. She has taught religious ed, worked as RCIA director and Coordinator of Rites, served on the board of Catholic Women of the Chapel, and founded Martha's Kitchen(food ministry for the homeless in Arkansas) She currently lives in Abilene with her husband Mike and 4 daughters.
