Space is limited to 16 swap guests, so be sure to reserve your spot. Suggested minimum donation of $25 for reservation and those guests will receive an exclusive gift bag retail valued over $100 with goodies from women-owned local businesses @skinessentialsspa, @the_chocolate_therapist, @general_store_45 and @in.tea.littleton. @jclaire_fashion is also giving a 10% discount to swappers who become shoppers! Donations and left over clothing from the swap will benefit The Gathering Place Denver. Move Up Mortgage and Madison & Co Properties will match donations up to a capped limit. THE CAUSE The Gathering Place offers services to combat poverty and address the impacts of marginalization and oppression that are often contributing factors to poverty or homelessness. By offering low-barrier access to a broad range of basic necessities and wrap-around care options, TGP guides for women, transgender folx and children living in poverty from a place of crisis and instability to one of stability and security. Jacque from @shear_wisdom_salon will be there to spruce up your tresses with fairy hair! Clothing Swap Party Rules *Guests to bring 10 gently worn and clean women's apparel items for spring/summer/fall season *No rips/holes or missing buttons or broken zippers *No yellow or smelly armpits *No stains *No shoes, bags, accessories or jewelry *No bras/undergarments, maternity wear or workout clothes If you would like to bring additional clothing items strictly for donation (leave winter items at home), please bring in a separate bag from your swap items for easy sorting. Specialty items TGP needs at this time are: bras and sports bras any size * nurse's scrubs * graduation gowns * plus-sized clothing of all kinds *athletic/running shoes * closed-toed shoes If you cannot attend but would still like to donate, please select "Donation Only" ticket option OR drop off clothing at J Claire Fashion between March 26 and April 2.
