We're excited to present the bay area's first ever African rave, featuring multiple rooms playing afrobeats, amapiano, D&B, and afro house. This event will take place in the heart of Oakland, at the brand new COMMUNE, located on Broadway and 17th street. We strongly encourage you to get in the spirit by wearing day-glo or tiedye attire as we provide you with this one-of-a-kind multi-sensory experience.
ABOUT DJ NEPTUNE:
Renowned International Eva - Blazing DJ Neptune is a successful Disc Jockey and hit-making producer from Nigeria, West Africa. He scored international success with his song, "Nobody" featuring Joeboy & Mr Eazi. Other production credits include 'For You" featuring Rema, and most recently "Bienvenue" featuring Ruger.
ABOUT BLAQ PAGES:
The Ghanaian-born, LA-based DJ/producer is one of the fastest rising afropop artists in the US. He is the co-founder of Afrobeats to the World and Enjoyment Worldwide. He is also one of Afrobeats Oakland's 2023 resident deejays.
ABOUT JUAN G:
The multi-faceted oakland-based artist is one of the he co-founders of Afrobeats Oakland and Afrobeats at the Lake festival, the of African Music Programming & Content at Pandora, and is one of the pioneers of African pop music in the bay area.
ABOUT TIEDYE TRIPPIN:
Tiedye is one of favorite up-and-coming djs in the bay area, and our latest addition to the Afrobeats Oakland family. Her taste ranges across the musical spectrum, fro afrobeats to trap, R&B to amapiano, all while bringing a fun and free-flowing vibe to any dance floor.
