Description

This is part of the A-List Adventure Series. We're infusing food and drink experiences with adventures in the beautiful outdoors, exploring Rochester, NY, the Finger Lakes and beyond. We're bringing like-minded people together to share unforgettable experiences. Visit the A-List website for more A-List Adventures to join. THE ADVENTURE We’re taking the fun to one of Rochester’s most beautiful and unique parks, Cobbs Hill then heading to nearby Heroes Brewing for a soup and beer pairing. We’re teaming up with Chef Luke Carretta, one of Rochester’s acclaimed private chefs and owner of Carretta’s Craft Foods. He’ll be pairing three soups with three 5 oz. pours of Heroes beer (swap cider, wine or non alcoholic beverage if you’re not a beer drinker). Due to changing tap lists, soups and beers will be released two weeks before the event. *If you have dietary restrictions, you can choose a large bowl of one of the soups by letting us know when soups are announced. The hike/snowshoe will be an hour and 15 minutes with a mid-hike Finger Lakes Harvest elderberry syrup wellness shot and 10 min. hilltop meditation. We’ll see dense woodlands in Washington Grove, two tiny houses, and the graffiti covered abandoned water towers. The highest point of Cobbs Hill offers one of the best views of the city. After the hike, we’ll head to Heroes Brewing for a soup and beer pairing. StretchLab will be at the brewery. Treat yourself to a free ten min. stretch! The first to purchase tickets will have first access to reserve. Limited stretch times which will go fast. Everyone will receive a 50% off voucher for their first stretch at StretchLab located in Victor and coming soon to Pittsford Plaza. Tickets: Tickets are $40 and include the hike, wellness shot, meditation, flight of three 5 oz. beers paired with three soups, and Stretch Lab sessions while they last. Check-in any time after 1:15 pm. The hike begins at 1:30 pm. What to Bring: Wear hiking boots (or snowshoes) and warm clothes. This hike is rated easy. Bring plenty of water. Parking/Location: We’ll meet at 1:15 pm and leave for the hike at 1:30pm. The parking location will be emailed to ticket holders.
