Join us for a fun day of volunteering to celebrate Earth Month!
Planting Partner: City of Lewisville Parks and Recreation Department
Event Description:
The City of Lewisville Youth Action Council partnered with the City Parks and Recreation Department for a Park Development Project as their service project of the year. The goal is to establish a formal greenspace called Palisades Park that unites the neighborhood to the outdoors through trees and passive amenities, as it was previously a park desert. Volunteers will be doing site preparation such as grading, picking up trash, and prepping tree plantings, with a second work day scheduled in April to complete the park with tree planting to create a community space to be proud of!
