After every storm, Marina del Rey Harbor gets a massive influx of trash flowing into our waters. 22 local marinas are teaming up to promote this community cleanup. Meet in the Main Channel in front of the Marina del Rey Hotel on Saturday, March 18th at 10am. Use a dinghy, small boat, kayak, paddleboard, or jetski, and help collect trash around the harbor. Bring gloves and nets, and wear layers in case of changing weather. Trash bags will be provided, but we recommend buckets to save putting more plastic into the water. Don't forget your PFDs (personal floatation devices)! If you do not have a way to get on the water, local paddleboard and kayak rental spot in Mother's Beach "Pro SUP Shop" is offering a discount for that event, must reserve in advance.
