Description
Nicola Majocchi has always looked at life with humor, drama and sensuality, all of it spiked with an element of risk. From downhill racing on the Italian Alps to working beside Irving Penn for five years, Nicola began his career in New York City and his attraction and passion towards action and movement, combined with his lighting techniques, gave him the opportunity to work with the most recognized Dancers and renowned Olympic Athletes. The morning lecture will cover various aspects of “Motion in Photography" with particular reference to advertising campaigns shot for the New York City Ballet Group, Nike and Arena. The afternoon photo shoot will get into the practical aspects of how to connect and communicate with a subject and how to work together with the subject, to freeze the perfect moment that brings home the winning shot.
