The Arboretum Artsfest will be held on Saturday, April 22nd from 10am-2pm. “Be Inspired To Be Your Own Artist” at this free event featuring: • ArtUs Co Art Market • Plein Air Austin Demos & Paint Out • Ao5 Gallery will host live painting by Steven Lavaggi from 11am-4pm, Cortney Hess will be singing live from 3pm-5pm & Dripping Springs will provide complimentary cocktails from 3pm-6pm. • Kids Activities in Courtyard Area including The Art Garage Spin Art & Face Painting • Live Music on The Lawn with the Dave Madden Jazz Duo from 10am-12pm & Matt Creaton from 12pm-2pm • Roaming Caricature Artist • Storytime hosted by Barnes & Noble & Literacy Coalition of Central Texas Guests will also be able to check out: • The new Esperanza Statue in the Courtyard • Property Murals featuring artwork by Avery Orendorf: Snap a pic and tag @ArboretumTX on Instagram for a chance to win a prize! -Deer Mural & Bat Tagging by the public restrooms - “Hope Flies High Tonight” by the Salon at The Arboretum -The Kissing Couple by the elevator -Using a soft, peach-colored palette, FeeBee depicts acts of love and romance with an effeminate flare in the newest mural design at Juliet Italian Kitchen (located on the back of the restaurant) • “Be Inspired To Be Your Own Artist” Chalkboard Contest • Selfie Station & Bat Tagging • Play Chess in the Courtyard • Enjoy Music Row in the Courtyard • Play Bocce Ball, Cornhole and Jenga at the Game Court Area • Learn the history of The Arboretum cows on the lawn For more information, visit https://thearboretum.com/events-news or Facebook: @ArboretumAustin and Instagram: @ArboretumTX
