Confined spaces can be an extremely dangerous work environment and the utmost of care and caution needs to be taken before anyone considers entering or working near a confined space. Identifying, understanding, and controlling the hazards provide workers with the ability to safely perform their duties within, or when monitoring these environments. This one-day course will address basic principles and concepts of confined space safety and examine the roles of the attendant and entrant in the process. A variety of instructional techniques, including challenge questions, workbook exercises, case studies, and practical learning applications, will be used to educate course participants. The course is suited for those who would be tasked to serve as the attendant while workers are in the space, or would be the worker entering a confined space at the worksite. The course material will provide students with an engaging and enjoyable learning environment. Our team carries experience across a range of duties with project management, risk hazard analysis, and safety training as our core operations. At New England Safety Solutions, our number one goal is to always provide the highest caliber of service to ensure Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) integrity for you. NESS partners with industry leaders to provide certified safety training for your team and projects. We incorporate a program evaluation and equipment inspection to ensure your operational procedures and equipment are up to date and inclusive of industry practices. Our goal is to work with your schedule, around the clock. You don’t stop and neither do we. Cancellation Policy: We hope you do not have to cancel; however, if you need to cancel, cancellation notices received in writing seven (7) or more days before the first day of class will be refunded in full, minus a $75 admin fee. Cancellations received less than seven (7) days before the first day of class will be provided a NESS Voucher for future training. Unused Vouchers expire one year after the date of issue. Substitutions are welcomed. No shows and cancellations received after the start of class will not be eligible for a refund. This policy will be enforced so please plan ahead. If you need to cancel, call us at (970)-361-7661 and speak to the Safety Training Manager. In the unlikely event that a course must be canceled by NESS, student will receive a full reimbursement of tuition costs. NESS is not responsible for travel and per diem that may be incurred by student. This includes, but is not limited to, airfare, hotel accommodations, rental vehicles, or meals.
