This workshop invites kids AND parents to learn how to mix, shape, and bake fresh pizza dough together!
First, we will explore the ins and outs of sourdough, gluten, kneading, and why pizza dough needs a rest. Everyone will have their own dough to stretch and shape into a delicious pizza. We will top our creations with homemade tomato sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, pepperoni, and kale. Then we'll learn how to use pizza peels and watch as the pizzas bubble and bake in the open wood-fired oven before getting to enjoy our creations!
Additionally, we will prep a special sweet treat as dessert. There will be plenty of leftovers to take home and many fun pizza nights in your future!
