We live in a busy world that tells us to take care of ourselves. But do we? Our natural human tendency is often to do and give more than may be best for our health, especially when we are caregiving for others, grieving a loss, managing illness, or during other emotional or busy times. Big emotions can make managing the most ordinary tasks overwhelming. We may feel like we have run out of "gas", or are just depleted in body, mind and spirit. In this class, you will learn a variety of practices and skills for deeper awareness, action and rest, while also re-filling your own well-being tank. Deborah Welsh is a retired Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Creative Arts Therapist, professor, dancer and teacher of Yoga Nidra.
