Meditation is a practice that has been around for thousands of years. The benefits of meditation and mindfulness are numerous and can include stress relief, sense of connection to self and community, understanding one's emotions and reactivity and more. We will be meeting every fourth Thursday to do a thirty minute meditation followed by a Dharma Talk (teaching) led by Phil Lloyd-Sidle from The Louisville Vipassana Community. The event is free/donation based (Dana) and beginners and meditators of all levels are welcome. Please bring your own Zafu/Meditation pillow or yoga mat to sit on.
