Garden Volunteer Day – Jamestown Elementary School We will be gathering together for a fun morning of weeding and prepping the Jamestown Elementary School garden beds and surrounding walkways. This event can be enjoyed by all abilities and ages and at the end, Blue Zones Project and Cal Fresh Healthy Living will provide healthy snacks to celebrate a job well done. This is the perfect opportunity to get outdoors, move naturally and connect with your community – all while creating the perfect conditions for kids to be able to plant and grow! What to Expect: You might get dirty! We recommend comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. There plenty of weeds to pull and fresh soil to lay so please bring gloves, water, hat, sunscreen, hand trowels, and a scoop of motivation! We will meet at the front of the school by the playground.
