Austin Society for Creative Entrepreneurship presents Goldbranded SXSW Panel. For those who those who are local to Austin, as well as those who are traveling in for the week of South by, we've curated a panel of industry professionals who will be discussing the ways creative entrepenuers can utilize different modes of technology and culture to develop an audience. The panel will be hosted at Factory Studio (8711 Burnet Rd., Ste B-35, Austin, Tx 78757) Complementary snacks and drinks will be provided. Event Sponsors: Topo Chico and Austin Eastciders Host Miles Bloxson is a producer and host for KUT 90.5 and KUTX 98.9. The Austin native and UT Austin graduate has a passion for technology, music and pop culture. She has interviewed such stars as Halle Berry, Samuel L. Jackson, Kristin Chenoweth, Morgan Freeman, Cee-Lo Green, Forest Whitaker and Robert Townsend. Bloxson is the producer and co-host of the podcast Pause/Play. She is also the host and creator of the podcast and lifestyle brand Miles To Mogul. Panel Eric Radford is a Management Assistant at WHY&HOW. Eric is passionate about developing artists and showcasing their art to share their stories. He has worked with Texas performers and producers across hip-hop, rock, house and techno. In partnership with Austin’s NPR station, KUTX, Eric produced recurring showcases as a platform for locally underserved genres and audiences. In addition to production planning, Eric has helped to secure underwriting and promotional opportunities with his network in Austin. At WHY&HOW, Eric manages Texas based artists Deezie Brown and Hood Taylor, and supports other WHY&HOW clients including Whiskey Myers, Read Southall Band & Bones Owens.Eric graduated from the University of Redlands with an International Business degree. Kalah has spent over 10 years as a digital marketer in paid media. In her agency roles, she's directed public relations and developed brand and demand generation strategies for global tech industry leaders. A fourth-generation Texan, she resides in Georgetown with her husband, a native Texan, and their children. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Houston. Kendra aka Juiccy Fruit, born and raised in Austin, Tx is a business owner, emcee, promoter, and talent comeptition judge, best known as a radio host for "The Revamp" on KAZI 88.7. Her influences growing up were Angie Martinez, and Free from BET's 106 & Park. She has had numerous showcases to help upcoming artists. Her striving goal is to continue creating musical opportunities for artists in her city, while guiding them to become the best version of themselves. Youth Soul Love is a Hip Hop Soul artist born and raised in Houston, TX. Gracing the music industry in 2012, Soul began writing and co-producing all of his own music, as well as directing & producing all of his visual content. Becoming well known for his effortless blend of relatable lyrics and high energy sounds, YSL combines his music, fashion and high quality visuals to immense his fans in a one-of-a-kind experience.
