In this class - Introduction to Alcohol Inks - we will start with an explanation of this medium and the process I use. After this, I will do a quick demonstrate of how to use the inks and tools, and give everyone a chance to ask questions. Then the fun begins! First, you will have an opportunity to test these new techniques on a practice piece. After you have played and get the hang of it, you will start your first painting. The first painting will be on a 6x6 piece of Yupo paper. As you get more comfortable and confident, you will move on to your 12 x12 painting. When the class is done, you will have 2 new pieces of original art that may be matted, framed, or turned into other fun items like bookmarks or notecards. (You may do this yourself, or I will do this for you and have your finished products available within a week after the class.) I am so excited to share the magic of alcohol inks.
