Join Lauren with Ms. Seedling Co. at Forgotten Star as she guides you through making your very own terrarium! Basic vessels, terrarium plants, plant materials, and decorations are included with your ticket. You're also welcome to bring your own vessel if you have something special you'd like to use instead. Vessels that will be provided are mostly up-cycled jars. Something to note about vessels: the type of vessel you use will determine what type of plants you can use in your terrarium. Open vessels can grow any type of plant & closed vessels are limited to what will survive in a humid environment (mainly tropicals - no succulents). A little about Lauren: Lauren is a creative who has been passionate about plants for most of her life and decided to turn it into her career at the end of 2019. At this time, she was in school and working for a plant company as a plant technician taking care of the office plants around the cities. She began rescuing plants to make some side income during the pandemic and it really took root! *pun intended* She operated this plant rescue out of her one bedroom apartment for about a year until she decided to expand her talents by starting her own business. She designs interiors with plants and exterior gardens, helping people grow their plant knowledge, and caring for people's plants when they need help. One thing she fell in love with was teaching people how to make terrariums! She's taught several terrarium classes and is full of knowledge and patience to help you through every step.
