Each year, numerous workers suffer the traumatic effects of a fall from height. Workers need to understand these dangers and the options available to help mitigate this hazard. The methods used to protect oneself at height can vary between situations, thus requiring comprehensive training. In addition to the general principles of working safely at height, this one-day course also covers common fall protection systems, providing knowledge on selection, set-up, and usage. A variety of instructional techniques, including challenge questions, workbook exercises, and practical learning applications, will be used to educate course participants. The curriculum will cover proper pre-use inspection, harness donning, system selection, and system set-up. The course is suited for those who perform work duties at height in various at-height jobsite situations and will be responsible for selecting and utilizing the appropriate system components. The course material will provide students with an engaging and enjoyable learning environment. New England Safety Solutions is a Maine based company that provides safety management services throughout New England and to points beyond. Our team carries experience across a range of duties with project management, risk hazard analysis, and safety training as our core operations. NESS partners with industry leaders to provide certified safety training for your team and projects. We incorporate a program evaluation and equipment inspection to ensure your operational procedures and equipment are up to date and inclusive of industry practices. Our goal is to work with your schedule, around the clock. You don’t stop and neither do we. Cancellation Policy: We hope you do not have to cancel; however, if you need to cancel, cancellation notices received in writing seven (7) or more days before the first day of class will be refunded in full, minus a $75 admin fee. Cancellations received less than seven (7) days before the first day of class will be provided a NESS Voucher for future training. Unused Vouchers expire one year after the date of issue. Substitutions are welcomed. No shows and cancellations received after the start of class will not be eligible for a refund. This policy will be enforced so please plan ahead. If you need to cancel, call us at (970)-361-7661 and speak to the Safety Training Manager. In the unlikely event that a course must be canceled by NESS, student will receive a full reimbursement of tuition costs. NESS is not responsible for travel and per diem that may be incurred by student. This includes, but is not limited to, airfare, hotel accommodations, rental vehicles, or meals.
