Grab your boo or bestie and get dirty together during this inclusive, beginner-friendly pottery workshop. You’ll receive an introduction to pottery and the pinch pot technique. We'll cover all the basics, and with step-by-step instructions, you will handbuild from clay, and decorate, a variety of items like vases, hanging planters, candle holders, mugs, and more! This event is 21+. BYOB - bring your favorite wine or beer to enjoy while claying together. Snacks available from French Press as a $15 add-on. Each ticket includes: 2 hour workshop on pottery basics, how to create pinch pots, and how to transform them into a variety of unique home decor, taught by Pottery with a Purpose Founder, Samantha (a lifelong Needhamite)Materials to build 1-2 pieces of pottery - choose from air dry clay (decorative) or ceramic clay (will be fired + glazed to be foodsafe and waterproof, and available for pick up in Needham 2-3 weeks after the class)Paint + paintbrush to decorate your pottery when it dried in 2-3 days (air dry clay option only)Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferable to another event date until 72 hours prior to the event.
