Orange County's 29th Annual Blue Ribbon Kickoff Event, organized by Orange County's Child Abuse Prevention Council and Blue Ribbon Committee, recognizes National Child Abuse Awareness Month in April 2023. This event is set to occur on Thursday, March 30th, 2022, at noon and will last approximately one hour. This event brings together County leaders, child-serving professionals and providers, community-based organizations, and the community at large to support the countywide efforts to prevent, respond to, and treat occurrences of child maltreatment in Orange County. The program will consist of impact speakers, County remarks and updates regarding the child welfare system, public awareness that promotes child safety, and a tribute to the children and families affected by child abuse and maltreatment.
