I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in May 2017, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. I am a small business owner in Ofallon, Il. I am a mom, to an amazing 4-year-old boy, and I am the outreach associate for the Violence Prevention center of Southwestern Illinois. We are a domestic violence crisis agency that supports survivors of Domestic Violence by offering services that empower them to be able to make safe choices. We service St. Clair, Randolph and Monroe County. This presentation gives an overview on how members of the community can become prosocial bystanders against Domestic Violence. We will discuss how to Recognize, Respond and Refer to Domestic Violence Situations.
